Mohd Adzhar Abd Hamed began his career in the banking and financial services industry at the Mayban Finance Berhad, where he served from 1991 until 2000. He then joined Amanah Saham MARA Berhad where he gained administrative and management skills. He later moved into several senior management roles in Pelaburan MARA Berhad including as the General Manager / Head, Legal, Compliance & Risk Management since 2016 before being appointed on 15 September 2022 as the Chief Operating Office
Graduated from the Northern Illinois University, USA, Mahdzir holds a BSc Finance (Honours) and previously carried Fund Manager’s Representative license issued by the Securities Commission. He is also alumnus of Universiti Teknologi MARA and an old boy of the Malay College Kuala Kangsar.
